Anthropic's Claude certifications.
Anthropic certifies the people who implement Claude, at four levels. Each credential is an exam passed by one person, and a way to check Claude depth before you hire.
What it tells you.
When you bring someone in to implement Claude, you're trusting a claim you usually can't check. From the outside, deep Claude experience and a few months of it look the same. The difference shows up after the work ships.
A certification gives you something concrete to ask for. It doesn't replace a track record, but it raises the floor: the person across the table has been tested on real production scenarios by the company that builds the model.

Two tracks, four credentials.
Each is a separate exam, held under the person's own name on Credly and valid for twelve months. Recertification is free.

A technical exam, graded on production scenarios.
Anthropic introduced the Claude Certified Architect – Foundations on March 12, 2026, as its first technical certification. The exam is one proctored session: 60 multiple-choice and multiple-response questions in 120 minutes. Each sitting draws four scenarios from a pool of six, each a realistic production setting: a customer support resolution agent, a multi-agent research system, a continuous-integration pipeline. The exam fee is $125.
The score report gives a pass or fail with a scaled score, and the percentage correct in each domain.

- Tool Design & MCP Integration (18%)Clean tool interfaces, structured error handling, MCP server integration, and distributing tools across agents.
- Context Management & Reliability (15%)Preserving information across long interactions, escalation patterns, error propagation, and confidence calibration.
