Shannon Advisory LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates cshannon.ai. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you visit our website or engage our services.

Information we collect

We collect information in the following ways:

• Information you provide directly — when you contact us via email, submit an inquiry, or book a call, we collect your name, email address, and any information you include in your message. Booking a call through our site starts with a short form that asks for your first and last name, email, company name, job title, what you want help with, how many people work at your company, which AI tools your team uses today, how you heard about us, and roughly what budget you have in mind; it also records the page you booked from. Booking a call adds you to our email list, as the note under the booking form says: we may send you occasional email about our work, and you can unsubscribe anytime.
• Connector access requests: if you request access to one of our connectors, the form asks for your first and last name, work email, company, which connector, which Claude plan you're on, whether your company already has API access with the vendor, how many people would use it, and anything else you want us to know; it also records the page you requested from. We use it to reply about access.
• Applications — if you apply to work with us through our careers page, we collect what you enter in the application form, including any file you attach. If someone referred you, the form may also collect that person's name.
• Analytics data — we use Google Analytics, HubSpot and Vercel Web Analytics to understand how visitors use our site. This may include your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time spent on the site. Google Analytics data is anonymized and aggregated. If you book a call with us, HubSpot associates the pages you visited on our site with your contact record, so we know which part of the site led to the conversation.

How we use your information

• To respond to inquiries and communicate about potential or active engagements
• To send occasional email about our work, including a monthly note from our founders, to people who have booked a call with us or discussed working with us. Every email includes a link to unsubscribe, and you can also email hello@cshannon.ai to stop.
• To understand how our website is being used and improve it
• To comply with legal obligations

What we don't do

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not use your information to train AI models. We do not buy email lists, and we add only people who have booked a call with us or corresponded with us about our services to our email list.

Third-party services

We use the following third-party services that may process your data:

• Google Analytics — website analytics. You can opt out via Google's opt-out tool.
• Vercel — hosting for this site, and Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without identifying individual visitors.
• Google Workspace — email communications.
• Tally — the application form on our careers page.
• Calendly — appointment scheduling. The booking calendar on our site is provided by Calendly.
• HubSpot — our customer relationship management system, website analytics, the booking and connector access request forms on our site, and the email we send, including our monthly note. What you enter in those forms, calls booked through Calendly, and the pages visited on our site before booking are recorded there.

Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing their use of your data.

Data retention

We retain email communications for as long as they are relevant to an active or potential engagement, and for a reasonable period thereafter. You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data. To exercise these rights, email us at hello@cshannon.ai. You can unsubscribe from our email at any time using the link in any message.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies through Google Analytics and HubSpot to measure how the site is used. Vercel Web Analytics sets no cookies. Browsers that send the Global Privacy Control signal are opted out automatically, and Google's opt-out tool, linked above, turns off Google Analytics in any browser. While you are opted out, Google Analytics receives only cookieless, aggregated signals and HubSpot does not load. Booking a call records the booking with HubSpot either way, because you provide your email address to book; while you are opted out, your earlier visits to the site are not attached to it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top indicates when it was last revised.
